Frontier Airlines, the ultra-low fare carrier known for its budget-friendly flights and eco-conscious approach, announced today the launch of a new nonstop route between Myrtle Beach International Airport (MYR) and Trenton-Mercer Airport in New Jersey (TTN).

The new service will operate twice a week, providing an additional affordable travel option for beach-bound visitors from the mid-Atlantic region and for South Carolinians traveling north. To celebrate the launch, introductory fares are being offered for as low as $39, available for a limited time on the airline’s website.

“This is an exciting day for Frontier and for consumers as we launch our signature ultra-low cost service between Myrtle Beach and Trenton,” said Josh Flyr, Vice President of Network and Operations Design at Frontier Airlines. “This new route will provide affordable and convenient travel for tourists planning beach getaways in the iconic Myrtle Beach area, as well as for South Carolinians heading to the mid-Atlantic and beyond.”

With this new addition, Frontier now operates four nonstop destinations from Myrtle Beach International Airport.

Frontier also used the occasion to spotlight their evolving service model, dubbed “The New Frontier.” Updates include:

  • UpFront Plus seating, featuring more legroom and guaranteed empty middle seats.
  • Unlimited companion travel benefits for loyal customers.
  • First Class seating debuting in late 2025.
  • Enhanced FRONTIER Miles frequent flyer program, with multipliers up to 20X and family mile pooling.
