INTRACOASTAL CHRISTMAS REGATTA

The Intracoastal Christmas Regatta is an annual holiday parade that begins in Little River, S.C., and ends in Lake Wylie, N.C. Locals flock to the waterfront each year on the Saturday after Thanksgiving to view this spectacular maritime parade. The flotilla starts at the Little River Inlet at 5 p.m. It travels south, arriving at Dock Holidays Marina at 7 p.m. Gather your family and watch the parade as it passes various viewing areas along the waterway. There is no charge to watch the Intracoastal Christmas Regatta. Spectators are encouraged to donate toys and more.

The parade begins at 2nd Ave North on Ocean Blvd., and continues south to Main Street, turning right onto Main Street, and heading east to Ye Olde Kings Highway, and turning right. Judges and a special guest announcer will be located at the end of the Horseshoe on Main Street and Ocean Blvd.

The Annual Holiday Golf Cart Parade will take place on Saturday, Dec. 16t, at 3 p.m. The route will be the same as previous years, beginning at Barefoot Landing’s “Boulevard” entrance (off U.S. Hwy 17). The parade route is approximately a quarter-mile long and ends at the intersection of Barefoot Landing Blvd. and Carolina Road. In addition to the parade, there will be live entertainment on stage.
