The Brentwood Restaurant

The Brentwood Restaurant

The Brentwood restaurant in Little River, SC is a one-of-a-kind dining experience located in a stunning Victorian home built in 1910 for Clarence and Essie Bessent-McCorsley. The home has a rich history, as it was where the couple raised their four children. After Clarence passed away in the late 1940s, Essie rented rooms to fishermen visiting Little River for a mere $1.00 per night, with an additional 50 cents for a hearty breakfast. The building was eventually moved to its current location in the 60-70s, and Grandma Mary's began serving the public with delicious home-style cooking.

Today, the restaurant is under new ownership, but the charm and tradition of this beautiful home remains the same as it did almost 100 years ago. The menu is curated by Chef Eric, who takes a creative yet simple approach to cooking with an emphasis on fresh and local quality products and dishes. Not only are the dishes delicious, but they're also good for you. The Brentwood invites you to experience the talents of this unique team and indulge in the rich history and charm of this beautiful home.
