This morning at 10 a.m., Broadway at the Beach welcomed its newest attraction with the grand opening of Black Flag Forge, a one-of-a-kind, immersive metalworking experience designed to ignite creativity and craftsmanship.
Unlike any other shop at Broadway, Black Flag Forge invites guests to roll up their sleeves and forge their own unique creations on-site. From custom blades and wall panels to hand-forged tongs and sculptures, everything inside the shop is handmade by a team of skilled artisans and an extended network of makers. Visitors don’t simply observe—they take part in the creative process and leave with a piece they’ve crafted themselves, all in one visit.
The opening celebration included live forging demonstrations, guided tours, complimentary food and drinks, gift bags, and free guest experiences that gave attendees a glimpse into the full Black Flag experience. Guests explored the intricately designed space, which combines dramatic storytelling, functional artwork, and an atmosphere rich with the smell of leather and the glow of hot steel.
All design elements, from the forged creations to the surrounding environment, were envisioned and brought to life by Forge in Fire Champion Josh A. Weston, whose vision was to offer something bold, raw, and deeply interactive.
Black Flag Forge now stands as the only full hands-on artistic experience at Broadway at the Beach, setting itself apart from traditional retail or entertainment venues. It’s not a ride, not a walkthrough, and not an assembly line—every experience results in an heirloom-quality object that holds meaning, weight, and story.
