I am Andy Thomas, a homegrown resident born and raised in North Myrtle Beach. My grandmother, Mildred Thomas, founded Thomas Real Estate. I’m proud to carry on the legacy of outstanding service she and my father, Hank, have built and supported over the decades. As the third generation of the Thomas family to have the privilege of providing life-long memories for guests and owners, I joined the company in 2004.
I attended North Myrtle Beach High School and graduated from The Citadel with a bachelor's degree in business administration. I’m honored to give back to this community through participation on boards such as the Horry County Accommodations Tax Committee and Destination North Myrtle Beach. Economic development, as well as the preservation of our natural resources, are vital to the continued success of our area.
As the Director of Homeowner Services, I know that understanding the goals of our vacation rental property owners is key. Personalized service and communication are the backbones of our program.

Hi, I’m Debbie Hardee, and I’ve been with Thomas Beach Vacations for over 25 years. Twenty-one years have been in the Owner Services area, so I must love what I do! I really do enjoy assisting potential homeowners in getting all the facts concerning the vacation rental industry and deciding if it’s the right choice for them. It is most rewarding when our services can help offset some expenses and enable folks to purchase their dream beach property, and I love the idea that they can rest well at night knowing their assets are in good hands.
I grew up in the small town of Landis, N.C., and after college, I flocked to the coast as soon as I could. That sand stayed in my shoes, and I lived in the Ocean Drive section of North Myrtle beach for over 28 years.
I don’t know about you, but I like to laugh—a lot (and loud). Well, as fate would have it, I met someone who makes me do just that every day. I married a lifelong Horry County gentleman, and over eight years ago, he moved me to the country little town of Loris, where he grew up. We now have our first grandchild; and are already spoiling Gentry Lynn every chance we get.
When I am “off duty” and not spoiling Gentry, I enjoy my girlfriend time as I have been blessed with many wonderful friends. I love a fun 5K. My husband and I enjoy bass fishing and yes, we are HUGE college football fans! (Go, Tigers).

My name is Jacqueline Ramsey, but you are welcome to call me Jackie. I was born in New York, moved to our area when I was seven years old, and I’ve lived here ever since! My husband and I got married the year I started at Thomas—in 2004. We are the very proud parents of three teenage girls—and that’s not half as scary as all the sitcoms make it sound.
I started out at Thomas from a temp agency. I came to truly enjoy the work, so I was pleased to be hired full-time. I’ve had the opportunity to be a department assistant, worked in Owner Services and in Annual Rentals, and eventually became an Owner Representative. I am blessed with a bevy of wonderful coworkers and a lot of learning opportunities. I hope to share all I’ve learned over the years with our owners, so we are all successful.
I love working in Owner Services. The team is a fantastic group of people, and we all work very well together. We are a supportive bunch and work together to support our owners’ goals.

Hello, I am Laura Cartrette. I’ve been with Thomas Beach Vacations since 2008 as a Guest Service Supervisor and joined Owner Services in late 2022.
I’m excited to build ongoing relationships with you--our homeowners--and earn your trust. I moved to this department to learn, broaden my knowledge, and experience new challenges. What is great about this career is continually enhancing my people, communication, and problem-solving skills. There is the added benefit of meeting people from all walks of life.
Others would describe me as trustworthy, caring, a good friend, ambitious, reliable, understanding, and warmhearted. My goal is to put these traits to work in providing the best customer service possible while providing peace of mind that your needs are met.
What makes me tick is being a mother to my son, Brayden, 18, and watching him grow as an individual. I’m guided by my father, my role model. He was the bravest, strongest, and most selfless person I’ve ever known.
I’m a beach native—from Little River. My heart remains here as I love boating, going to the beach, watching Gamecock football, and enjoying time with family and friends. Oh, and spending time with my sweet rescue dog, Annie Mae!

Hello, I’m Kevin Funderburk. I came to North Myrtle Beach while I was working on my master’s degree in an internship for the City of North Myrtle Beach. I met one of the executives of Thomas Real Estate, and here I am 34 years later!
Being in a company for 34 years gives you a broad perspective on the organization. I’ve had the chance to work in many departments—Guest Services, Accounting, and Maintenance. In 2016, I started working on the support side for Owner Services.
I enjoy jumping in and doing anything that is needed to assist our team and owners—whether it’s a work order dealing with maintenance or going out to do a quick fix on a property; I’m here to make things work as smoothly as possible.
How do I fit into the dynamics of the Owner Service team? I’ll never forget one time I was going to meet a group of people my roommate knew for dinner. I asked him how he described me to them. He said, “I told them you would absolutely overwhelm them!”
The people I work with would probably describe me as loud and outgoing. I haven’t always been like that. Today, others say I can carry on a conversation with a fence post. The truth is, I like to meet people and converse with them.
Over the years, I’ve met some great owners and guests. I’ve made some great friends, too. It’s wonderful to meet people from all over the world. This is a tough business, as are all companies dealing with people. But in my heart, I know we have the best team in the industry by far; we offer the best products at the best price, so we have the best guests and owners. That makes us want to do a great job for them.
My wife, Michele, is the rock of our family—the glue that holds us together. She is a retired music teacher and singer (on the praise team at church). My son, Daniel, 25, is in Spartanburg working with an organization called Campus Outreach at Wofford College. This is his first year on staff and feels this is where he has been led to serve.

I’m Wade Andrews--I’ve been with Thomas Beach Vacations for six years and have spent three years in the Owner Services Department. I moved to this department to be challenged by additional responsibility, as well as the chance to interact and work with our owners.
I absolutely love the numbers side of the business—analyzing data and looking at competitors and the market to create viable opportunities for property owners to be profitable. My goal is to help owners reach their goals.
Besides being analytically minded, people would describe me as easy going. I’m a good communicator, which helps in my job as an Owner Service Representative. The partnership we have with owners is very important to me and communication is key in that process.
My teammates would most likely say, I’m positive. I strive to make our work environment stress free and easy for co-workers and our customers.
I’m motivated by my family and my son, Ollie, being the provider and wanting to learn and strive to be a positive contributor. I’ve been in almost every department imaginable in vacation rentals—from the front desk of a small vacation rental property to housekeeping, maintenance, golf, and more.
I admit that I am a worry wart, but if my heart is set on something, I’m driven and passionate. This motivation comes directly from my father—a natural salesman and hard-working man. He told me a long time ago if you’re going to work, make sure it’s something you love doing, not something you just go and do.
I was born in Rocky Mount, N.C. My parents had a vacation property in North Myrtle Beach. As soon as I graduated high school, I moved to that property to attend college. Growing up, I didn’t want to live anywhere but here. I still feel that way today!
I have two very extraordinary boys, Carter, age 15, and Cam, age 4. Having a son with special needs has molded me into the person I am. Each day, my family lives in the moment, and we are grateful for the moments we have. We especially love the chance to be together and fish and crab at the Cherry Grove Point.

OUR VACATION EXPERTS work hard to sell your home, villa or condominium as a vacation selection. They handle our reservation hot line, take reservation requests, fulfill guests’ requests for information, and process all online reservations. They cheerfully greet and check-in all guests, making sure the guests feel very welcome and have an outstanding stay in your property with THOMAS Beach Vacations. Our guest services staff also reviews guest surveys and often contributes excellent recommendations for improvement.
SUPPORT & MARKETING SERVICES… TO ENHANCE and ASSIST
WE MAXIMIZE THE POTENTIAL of your property by evaluating guest vacation preferences, market trends, individual property performance, and other factors. Our Support Services Director maintains system data and coordinates with Homeowner Services and Guest Services to establish optimum rental rates and seasons. With our new Internet Marketing Director, we aggressively promote the homes and condominiums on our vacation rental program via various print and internet venues. Ongoing projects include increased e-campaigns, effective use of social media, creating special web pages, maintaining portions of our website, and producing our vacation rental guide.
IT’S ALL IN THE DETAILS and we do it right. As your vacation rental manager, we process all guest revenue and vendor expenses. Our accounting department prepares detailed monthly homeowner statements for distribution on or before the 10th of each month. They also prepare and distribute a tax information packet at year’s end to each homeowner.
OWNERNET IS USER-FRIENDLY, and is password and user ID protected just for you. View your property’s reservation calendar and check for both guest and owner bookings. You can make owner reservations online at your convenience. Monthly statements and work orders are posted online for your review. You can even read and or reprint posted newsletters and other items of interest.
