Crescent Beach is probably the widest beach in the City of North Myrtle Beach (unless recent storm-related beach erosion has had an impact). This quiet, family-friendly community has homes and condos sprinkled between antique shops, restaurants, souvenir stores, and entertainment.
Like Ocean Drive Beach, it has a horseshoe at the end of what was once Main Street. It has an interesting history, too! It was a former port for pirates along their travels across the Atlantic. (Perhaps, tucking—crescent–around the bend?)
