Bistro B Opens in Myrtle Beach with Pickleball Courts and a Fresh Culinary Experience

After nearly two years of development, a long-awaited addition to downtown Myrtle Beach has opened its doors. Bistro B, located at 1803 North Kings Highway, is more than just a new restaurant—it’s a social hub combining upscale casual dining with the fast-growing sport of pickleball.

The concept for Bistro B began back in 2023, transforming what was once the longtime-vacant site of Five O’Clock Somewhere into a dynamic culinary venue. The new restaurant welcomes diners with vibrant greenery, repurposed wood accents from the building’s earlier days, and a relaxed, modern vibe.

The menu features a blend of high-end and familiar fare, from classic burgers and steaks to more adventurous offerings like lamb chops, ceviche, and passion fruit sushi. An innovative drink menu complements the cuisine, with highlights like espresso martinis, jalapeño margaritas, and a house pickle martini that gives a savory twist to a traditional favorite.

But what truly sets Bistro B apart is the inclusion of three on-site pickleball courts, located just behind the restaurant. Available to reserve online, the courts are priced at $10 per player per hour, and guests who play receive dining discounts as part of the experience. This pairing of activity and dining offers a fresh new way for visitors and locals to socialize and unwind.

The restaurant operates Sunday through Thursday from 4–10 p.m., and extends its hours on Friday and Saturday until midnight. During the summer, late-night options will be available via the drive-thru window until 2 a.m., offering a limited menu for night owls and vacationers coming off the beach.

Bistro B is walk-in friendly but also accepts reservations online. It joins a growing list of attractions revitalizing the Grand Strand and bringing new energy to longstanding locations.
