Pepsi Bottling Ventures

Recently, local and state leaders welcomed Pepsi Bottling Ventures (PBV) to its new location in the Palmetto Coast Industrial Park in North Myrtle Beach. PBV will be moving into a new 164,850-square-foot facility off Water Tower Road as the first tenant of the 40-acre complex.

The Myrtle Beach Regional Economic Development Corporation (MBREDC) hosted the event, which included a groundbreaking ceremony and remarks from North Myrtle Beach Mayor Marylin Hatley, State Senator Greg Hembree, and Horry County Council Chairman Johnny Gardner. Derek Hill, President and CEO of PBV, discussed the importance of the new facility for the company’s growth, and Sandy Davis, President and CEO of MBREDC, highlighted the cooperation that helped bring the project to fruition.

The Presentation of Colors was provided by the North Myrtle Beach High School Color Guard followed by a group recital of the Pledge of Allegiance. Mayor Hatley emphasized that city council is committed to fostering strategic alliances between residential and commercial sectors.

PBV is investing $15 million and will be retaining 146 jobs while creating at least 27 new positions.
