New Nonstop Flights from Rochester to Myrtle Beach Begin in October
Travelers from upstate New York will soon find it easier to reach the South Carolina coast. Beginning October 2, Breeze Airways will launch nonstop service from Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester International Airport to Myrtle Beach International Airport.
The flights will operate twice a week, on Thursdays and Sundays, and continue seasonally through May. The new route provides convenient access for Rochester-area residents looking to enjoy Myrtle Beach not only in the summer, but also during the fall and winter seasons.
Breeze Airways highlighted year-round attractions in Myrtle Beach, such as Oktoberfest celebrations, the Carolina Beach Music Awards in November, and the North Pole Express Cruise in December.
This addition follows several new flight options at Rochester’s airport this year. Breeze introduced four other routes in May, while Avelo Airlines launched service to Nashville in April, and Allegiant Air announced flights to Sarasota earlier last month.
