North Myrtle Beach 2025 Thanksgiving Holiday Schedule Released

NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — The City of North Myrtle Beach has released its official schedule for the 2025 Thanksgiving holiday, outlining temporary closures and adjusted hours for several city facilities.

City Hall and the Parks Administration offices will close beginning at 3:00 PM on November 26 and will remain closed through November 28. The North Myrtle Beach Aquatic & Fitness Center will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, November 27, reopening with normal hours afterward.

Residents should also take note of changes to sanitation services. There will be no collection on November 27, and Thursday’s regular route will instead be serviced on Friday, November 28.

The North Myrtle Beach Park & Sports Complex will remain open during daytime hours, but will close at 5:00 PM throughout the week in preparation for the start of the annual Great Christmas Light Show, which opens to the public tonight. Please note that there will be no light show on Thanksgiving Day.
