“Traveling the Spectrum” Returns to North Myrtle Beach for Season Two Filming

Filming is underway for season two of Traveling the Spectrum, an unscripted docuseries developed by Visit Myrtle Beach and The WorkShop Content Studios. The show, which premiered its first season on Peacock, returns to the Grand Strand this spring with a new cast of neurodivergent travelers exploring the Myrtle Beach area through the lens of sensory-friendly vacationing.

The second season features three new cast members: Mila Alvarez-Cruz, a non-verbal five-year-old from New Jersey who uses an AAC device to communicate; Jonah Monroy, a 22-year-old from Minnesota with autism and OCD who is rediscovering his passion for travel; and Brittney Sherell, a 33-year-old author and advocate from Atlanta using her platform to push for more inclusive experiences in air travel and beyond.

Production highlights destinations across the Myrtle Beach area that offer calming, sensory-friendly experiences for travelers on the autism spectrum. From beach outings and nature trails to hands-on local attractions, the series promotes Myrtle Beach—and particularly the family-friendly feel of North Myrtle Beach—as a model for accessible tourism.

Season one remains available to stream on Peacock. Viewers can learn more at www.TravelingTheSpectrumShow.com.
