Our Employees

An employee not feeling well is to remain home. An employee who has been in contact with someone with COVID-19 is required to report it immediately.

  • Thomas employees must go through (ongoing) standardized health and safety training programs in adherence with WHO and CDC guidelines. Guest Service Representatives, Housekeeping, and Maintenance personnel will be wearing masks for your protection and theirs. Gloves, masks, and disinfectants are
    available.
  • In addition to hands-on training, employees are provided resources outlining the steps for proper safety measures, such as frequent hand washing, covering coughs and sneezes, social distancing and more.
  • Plexiglas shields have been installed at our front desk to further protect you and our employees. This helps reduce contact during check-in.
  • Hassle-free outside drop box check-out eliminates the need to come into our building.

Property Cleaning Protocol

We want you to have an absolutely wonderful, safe, stress-free vacation.

Your rental has been:

  • Thoroughly treated with hospital-grade, EPA approved cleaners, with extra attention given to high-touch points such as the TV remotes, appliances, bathrooms, doorknobs, railings, light switches, clock radios, lamps, bathroom handles, waste cans, etc.
  • Checked and approved by a housekeeping inspector.

In addition:

  • Housekeepers wear gloves and masks.
  • All cleaning equipment is disinfected daily.
  • Dishes have been washed.
  • Linens are washed and bleached in our in-house laundry facility.
  • Linens are cellophane wrapped when transported from our facility to prevent contamination.
  • Bedding and carpet have been disinfected.
  • Porches, patios, decks, and outdoor furniture have been cleaned and disinfected.
  • Pools have been cleaned and disinfected either prior to your arrival or the day of your arrival.

Check-in & Check-out Safety

Thomas Beach Vacation lobbies and guest access areas are cleaned with hospital-grade, EPA approved materials.

One guest at a time will be helped during check- in and check-out, maintaining a 6-foot distance between guests. Markings on the floor will assist with social distancing. Plexiglas sneeze guards are installed at our front desks. Your check-in packets are pre-assembled. Simply show your identification at the Plexiglas, and you will be slid your packet.

All keys, pool passes, and wristlets have been disinfected. (This also applies for check-in packets picked up in the after-hours box.)
Lobby counters, furniture, doors, bathrooms, etc., have consistent schedules for cleaning and disinfection. In addition, anti-bacterial products are available in the buildings for guests.

A no-hassle drop box check-out prevents you from entering the building upon departure.

Bedding, carpet, curtains, and furniture are sprayed with disinfectant, as well. If you are staying in a private home, patios, decks, lawn furniture, and pools also are cleaned and disinfected.

Common Areas

If you are staying in a resort, common areas (lobbies, restrooms, pool areas, amenities, elevators, etc.) are cleaned and maintained by the resort or HOA staff.

Are you accepting reservations?

Yes, we are open, and you can book reservations online at northmyrtlebeachvacations.com, or by calling 843-273-3100.

Are the beaches open?

Beaches are open and available for your enjoyment. Social distancing guidelines remain in place.

What are the standards for check-in and check-out?

Front desk employees are required to wear masks when interacting with guests. Only one guest will be checked in at a time, maintaining a 6-foot distance. Markings on the floor will assist with the flow.
Plexiglas shields are installed at our guest counters. Check-in packages will be ready and waiting for you, and keys, key cards, pool passes, and wristlets have been disinfected. Simply show your identification at the Plexiglas, and your packet will be slid to you. An outside drop box is available for check-out, eliminating the need to enter the building.

What are the dining options?

Outside and inside dining is open in South Carolina (with restrictions), as well as curbside takeout and fast food.

Grocery stores are open, and many offer delivery or pick-up services. Most retail stores also are open. Check store websites or call ahead.
