GUEST SERVICES MANAGER

What we’re looking for

The Guest Services manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the operations of the front desk, the staff, and guest experiences while maximizing company revenue and productivity. Additionally, you will be responsible for selecting, training, and developing team members to create a positive team-oriented environment focused on providing outstanding customer service to our guests. The manager also handles guest requests, disputes, and concerns to ensure guests are satisfied and provide repeat business.

The Guest Services manager job requires a combination of management and customer service skills, as well as the ability to problem-solve in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

 

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring top-quality guest experiences throughout their stay
  • Monitor guest feedback and implement changes to improve guest satisfaction
  • Assisting with guest inquiries/resolving disputes effectively
  • Leading and training the team to enhance customer service/booking performance
  • Monitoring bookings performance
  • Handling the arrival and departure of guests
  • Working closely with other managers to enhance the overall guest experience
    • Informing guests about updates of services
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and new technologies to enhance guest experiences
  • Providing reports to senior management on department accountabilities

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in the Guest Relations or Hospitality industry
  • 5+ years of management experience
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Great leadership skills
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office
  • College degree a plus
  • Experience with Streamline Vacation Rental Software a plus
